1. COD weapons are inaccurate. They wave about too much. B4 weapons do not. They are extremely accurate over long distances. 

2. In COD you can empty an LMG clip into a wall to little effect. But in B4 there is damage proportionate to the effort expended. It actually breaks and you feel you are achieving something. 

3. In B4 you can destroy stuff through 'level-utions' e.g. alter gas levels in a pipeline to cause an explosion which then demolishes a building. Yo can't do that in COD

4. B4 has tanks, helicopters even quad bikes. COD does not. 

5. In COD wounds regenerate over time simply by absenting from combat. This is highly unrealistic. And regeneration is too quick. In B4 recovery from wounds takes much longer and only via provision of media-paks given by medic. COD has no medics. 

6. Snipers in B4 are called 'Recon class' and are great fun. COD also has snipers but these are overly powerful. 

7. Wounds in COD kill, even in extremities like hands or feet. In B4 only a head-shot or two chest shots can oil, nothing else. 

B is the second most popular modern military First Person Shooter game on the market, second only to the COD series.  Despite this, I believe B is the more realistic of the two.

SPACE MARINES VIDEO REVIEW - The Chaos gods (2)

In the Warhammer 40,000 universe there are four chaos gods, Khorne, the blood god, Nurgle, the great unclean one, Slaanesh, the chaos god of pervertedness (not sure on that one, but I can't tell if Slaanesh is a boy or girl!) and finally Tzeentch, the chaos god of change, also known as Kairos Fateweaver. Slaanesh was actually created from the dark dreams of the eldar. the story goes that while man was crawling from the seas, the eldar reigned supreme. but, from superiority came decadence and from decadence came obscenity, and from this pervertedness a chaos god was born, slaanesh. slaanesh then proceeded to wipe out most of the eldar, putting them on the brink of extinction. but some eldar were smart enough to escape their encroaching doom. they fled to colossal ships known as craftworlds, literally flying worlds.

GAMEPLAY: But enough about the lore behind it all, let's get into the gameplay. Space Marines is a great game. It has two modes, online and single-player. In single-player you must fight endless waves of Orks. In multiplayer, you can choose to either play a versus game mode which have annihilation or capture and hold, I think there are many other great game modes but I have not gotten around to playing them yet. I like capture the most because it gets you a lot of XP [Experience] and it's a lot of fun. 

I am currently only a lvl 16 which is pretty good seeing as I've only played it for a few days. or if you don't like playing versus, like me, you can always play exterminatus. in which you and four other players must fend off 20 waves of Orks. it is extremely difficult to keep all four players in the game and the waves seem endless. You complete about five to six waves and then the announcer says that 'the sector has been cleared'. 
You then progress to then next arena and so on. At first it is just some Boyz and some Grethcins, then some shooters, then rocket launchers, then Nobs, then shooter nobs that just have a heavy machine gun, then you get rocket nobs, then you eventually get Black Nobs which have humongous axes and a lot of armour. Finally if you have survived the 20 waves of Orks, you get a 'bonus round' in which chaos demons and chaos space marines spawn from portals.

CHAOS SPACE MARINES: Beware of the chaos space marines, they pack heavy bolters and plasma cannons. Be sure not to let the heavies pile up, because if you only take out the little guys, then after you've done with them, you're suddenly left with 20 heavies to take out! Which may not end well for you and your friends. I recommend taking a group of friends with mics if you intend on playing this game mode. It is funner and you work better as a team and you know that your friends won't leave you as long as they are good friends!

SPACE MARINES-VIDEO GAME REVIEW (1) - The god Emperor

Space Marines WarHammer 40K, put out by THQ and Relic Entertainment, is rated MA15+ for violence.
The good points of this game are it is a third person shooter, and has an instant transition from shooting to close combat. In this game you play from the perspective of captain Titus, of the Ultramarines  chapter. You are deployed to Forge World Graia, which is under siege from a fully fledged  Ork invasion. Your job as a Space Marine is to find and secure the Titan war machines before the Orks do.

I myself am a fan of the tabletop experience, which is very different from the video game. War-hammer 40,000, or War-hammer 40k, is set in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium and humanity is in the dark age of technology, where they must use the remains of what they once had during the Golden Age. That is why man is forced to use primitive, but still highly effective, power armour. Titans are one of these remnants of the Golden Age, so to lose one in battle is unaffordable. Titans are colossal war machines made of adamantium, wrapped in fields of impenetrable energy, a true testament to the might of the Imperium.

Unfortunately, the Emperor of Man was mortally wounded during the Great Crusade, a time in which the Imperium was on a conquest to recover the Primarchs, sons of the emperor from which all Chapters hail. While the primarchs were being born, their birthing pods were spread throughout the known galaxy by the Chaos Gods. many were lost, but some landed on Imperial planets and were raised by the Imperium.

These were no normal men though, they were demi-gods of battle, peerless strategists, and even better fighters. One of these sons was Horus. Horus had been corrupted by the Chaos Gods, but the Emperor still loved his son. Horus then lead a Black Crusade for chaos against the Imperium and slaughtered billions in the name of the Chaos Gods. Finally in a desperate last effort, the Emperor and the last remaining loyalists, teleported to Horus' battle barge to engage in hand-to-hand combat.

The God-Emperor of Man could not bring himself to kill his son. Horus took the opportunity to strike. He plunged his poisoned chaos blade into the Emperor.  Horus had severely wounded the Emperor, but not killed him. As he was about to deliver the killing blow, a brave Imperial Guardsman, llahnius Pious, stood up for the emperor. He leaped up to the Colossal Primarch and plunged his bayonet into the primarch. He almost killed him but Horus bested Ollahnius. With one swipe he killed the brave Guardsman.

Finally the emperor saw that his son was not his son but a monster. With his dwindling strength the Emperor uses his psychic powers to kill Horus but  the emperor was too wounded to be saved. The blade had been removed but the poison's touch was still felt. So ten thousand years later the Emperor sits, immobile, on the Golden Throne of Earth watching over his empire, even still. The Emperor is the only reason that the Chaos gods have not broken through into the material realm. The Emperor holds the doors of chaos closed so that his empire and the entirety of existence may survive.

CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS II

Call of Duty Black Ops II [by Treyarch] has the same problem as every other game now available - it lacks reward. Unfortunately, another game I like Borderlands 2, a game released in September 2012, suffers this same problem. 

An example of this is in 'the heroes journey'. It states that at the end of the 'heroes quest' they receive a great prize or 'boon' as a reward for their service to whoever gave them their task. But in a lot of video games on the market, the players receive nothing for their effort. 

In Borderlands 2, after the player goes through their amazing journey, kill Jack and defeat the warrior, the player doesn't get anything. They don't get an amazing gun that PWNs everything; they don't even get a pat on the back. 

This is no incentive to play at all. CoDBOII suffers from the same flaw. When a player reaches the top level they don't get to relax at all. All they're told to do is - 'do it all, again'. Yes, the player does get to unlock the 'best' gun, but... only one person is having all the fun. No one else is. 

Another beef I have: depending on the game, 'friends' on PSN are almost completely useless. Unless they are exactly the same as you, they are not very fun and rarely ever play with you. When they do they're not much fun to play with, anyway. 

Fortunately PS4 is to be released in the 2013 holidays. Hopefully it will have some better games on it. Maybe the game developers will 'get their act together'. Let's all pray when Borderlands 3 comes out Gearbox does't screw it up, yet again.
